Tags

Repeato allows you to assign tags to tests or to steps.

Step tags can be useful if:

  • you want to make a step pop out of the long list of steps
  • you want to structure your long list of steps in to sections
  • you want to communicate a certain aspect to your QA-team mates
  • you want to change the test runner’s behaviour for some steps but not all

 

Test tags can be useful if:

  • you want to categorize your tests across different library folders
  • you want to be able to easily find all tests with a certain tag easily
  • you want to change the test runner’s behaviour for some tests but not all
